Didn't look at your link, but Amazon.com has the latest official Hitchikers trailer up on their front page.

Mm... I'm still split. This has given me an equal number of additional things to be pessimistic and optimistic about. I'm still loving Marvin, but the acting seems off, although we weren't given very much to see. It seems like they might be diluting many of Adam's very cerebral jokes into slapstick. On the other hand, they might be going for that, and delibrately making it look like they aren't trying too hard in order to give the thing the overall effect that Adams would have been going for. This is a "must see whole movie before concretely opining", quite definitely.

just 2 begin, cheers all :).
I've read the book, and the 4(?) sequels as well. I loved it. It might b coes I have a weakness for anything humorous from britain, but it was very good none the less. the looks of several things r different from what I thought they would b, but that's always the case with filming books. But overall, I like the look of it, and especially the characters, very much. Just the fact that it has been made a movie is surprising 2 me, and I really have GOT to see this movie. I might b dissapointed, but who knows (where was the part that Aragorn fell of a cliff?). Oh well, I c this post is longer than average, so 2 stop me from boring u any longer...
goodbye!

yeah since i'm so visually oriented, i usually can't stand reading a bunch of words...that i'd rather read graphic novels or comics. but some books are so good that i don't really care and read them anyway.

i'm currently reading "the catcher in the rye", damn good book.

Just make sure that you know that the point is not Holden's manic anti-establishmentarianism in a literal, practical sense in the novel. It isn't a story of a guy who doesn't fit in going around and doing stuff, it's a conviction of society. And I have yet another paper to write on the book before tommorow, so thanks for reminding me.

I was going to complain about Zaphod Beeblebrox just having the one head, but the other one showed up. I really enjoyed the books, the old BBC radio show and the old BBC television series of Hitchhiker, therefore, I will go.

OMG finally a longer version of the trailer. I loved the books. Btw did u realise at the end they had the same music as the MIB movies?

BTW were the TV shows really good? And also can i get the recordings of the radio shows on tape or CD?

What is the 42 in the upper right corner at the end in reference to?

I hope that somehow the Eagle's piece, "Journey of the Sorcerer" is included either in the soundtrack or in the background. Growing up as a lad in Idaho the banjo that began that also let me know it was time for another episode of HHGTTG.

A BRAND-NEW and MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER Internet-exclusive trailer is up on www.ugo.com. I'm asking myself why the hell they dont stick this one in theaters. Definitely try to spread this one around, I've gone from vaguely underwhelmed to must-see for sure.
