Good work as always man. Thought you were a gal at first (judging by your name) but after reading what you wrote on your site I know better. May I ask what kind of tablet you use? Keep it up :)

Kri'ich the skull collector works for Bazzeluth the Black, running all over Bazzeluth's Volcanic territory, killing minor offenders and collecting the heads of the major ones, killed by Bazzeluth's magic. These heads can be interrogated by Bazzeluth's necromancy, after which they are given to Kri'ich.
Painter 30 min I think, and came out quite nicely if I can say so myself

Watching and rewatching the ilustration, I arrive to the conclusion that the character I paint must be some relative of the teenage mutant ninjas :teeth:

cool ones Hermchen and Ari. And I appreciate that you have a website now, thanks a lot Sonja-nine.

My contribution is just a sketch, but well....

Arri: Good stuff.

First image post in a long time for me. I'm back from the dead i guess. And i know there's lots of stuff that doesn't make sense in this one.

Alabaster Jones stopped his work for a second, he thought he heard a noise in the midst’s of the dead skulls, little did he know someone was their… watching… and waiting to collect his skull.

Er....just ignore the notebook lines. I can't figure out how to remove them in photoshop without screwing up the image too bad. I'm mostly a pen and paper guy and photoshop still eludes me. Can someone enlighten me?

sevnraiz:

press ctrl + u
and in the menu, select "blues"
and get that lightness bar all way up!
if it still shows try to put the lightness up in other categories (red, green ,etc...)

Ha HA! I did, did I? Well, it's a lot of fun, and I especially enjoy all the research I have to do. I like yours a lot (perhaps because there are tigers?) especially the lighting. I would suggest doing more studies of tigers, or cats in general, to get the muzzle more in perspective. I'll have my post up shortly, and you can crit mine too... :)

I like everyones, they all stick the mood pretty nicely, i have no mood in mine, but its just a sketch anyways ... always trying to think outside the box :) he doesnt ACTUALLY collect skulls, but you know how in world wars pilots will put flags of the enemy up on their plane, for each bogey they'd shot down. same idea ...

The retired bounty hunter, Jonell Dar, was in need of a hobby. Skull collecting seemed to fit his tastes.

Great work everyone, I recently stumbled upon this site and I was inspired to give art another shot after abandoning it many many years ago. While my work pales in comparison to yours I will be posting as often as I to force myself to get better.

Keep up the good work

Here's my first shot at "painting"

Great stuff everyone!

White Tiger: Thanks! I don't think I've drawn a tiger before, so not surprised that it looks a bit strange.

I like the owl stepping out of the darkness. Perhaps the left side could drop even further back into the shadows. I was a bit curious as to the skulls up higher on the left edge, what is holding them there? It would be fun to see a pile of skulls around his feet.
