Ahh... time travel... the new fad amongst the rich of the world. This form of entertainment involves travelling to pocket dimensions with relevent "specimens" and objects to a certain peroid. Unfortunatly the issue of grime created during the travelling process has yet to be solved.

Hamsta, your figure kinda looks manly in the upper body... plus... why do you always put an introductive story for your characters?

white tiger> Wow i like a lot this cats they are really cute.
teyekanik> I like the concept a lot but seems to me more a native that the "time traveller" has discovered... at least this is the story came to my sick head when I see your desing :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

I do this with a foto reference more concerned in how to render than in the concept.

Sonja, very nice dude. It reminds of my that Ray Bradbury story, "The Sound of Thunder".

All of these are really cool. I won't be adding anything today, because I'm a slack loser.

A former hippie and anti-war demonstrator has been warped from the seventies to a distant future where every human must fight for his survival on the now alien controlled earth. No pants because I was bored :)

Not really finished, nor a good scan, but I felt I had to complete it today :bashful:

Well, I started doing descriptions because I feel they are an important side to concept art, and as to why you chose to do things the way they are. When I left off the stories because I didn't feel like doing I heard complaints and discovered I had a small fan club :P

I was also inspired to continue writing after Phuzions post here:

Awsome pic - totally reminds of a story *about* time travle by Ray Bradbury about a guy who goes back to prehistoric times on Safari to hunt a TRex. There was a path that they were not supposed to leave, doing would cause all sorts of reprocussions throughout time.

Anyway, the guy left the path, got the TRex, stepped on a butterfly and screwed everything up in his own time and line and ended up getting a bullet in the head from the safari guide when they got back.

Great story. Great pic.

Cheers,
~Shane

I remember reading that story in my english book last year, "The Sound of Thunder". But anyway, everyone your works are amazing. I come here everyday just so I can see what new things you all have come up with.

odd, cos that was about the first time travel story I ever read too...

btw folks hi, it's been ages since I posted here. I see some of the old pros seem to have gone dormant, but sonja sure seems to be up there. Can't wait to get back into this with my new tablet :D

Maybe I'll put something up tonight, if I get time.

I really need to get over with using so many effects, but time travel just begs for effects. :bashful:

The Sund of Thunder @ WarnerBros (http://asoundofthunder.warnerbros.com/)

They're actually making a movie of that story you guys are talking about. My roommate showed it to me a couple days ago, and I was shocked to see u mention the same story. Weird.

Anyways, here's my concept. Probably not really what one thinks of when they thing of Time Traveler, ... oh well.

18/25/30 minutes in photoshop with a pen tablet, should've spend more time on it but I don't quite know how to render yet.
