3 characters for a short

a few friends and I are working on an animated short. I haven't posted here in quite sometime, but i finally have some work that might be worth showing. anyway, here are the three characters that I modeled and textured. we're putting finishing touches on this week, which includes hair, so hopefully in a few days the last two will be completed and I'll post them any crits would be nice! thanks

Nice characters.

How did you go about doing the afro for the top character?

the afro was done with maya fur. the sphere that it is attached to has been made into a softbody so that when he walks the afro bounces a little bit. it is pretty funny.
