Heya Heroic,

thanks for your advice I own all those books already ghehe, I more or like trying to find what my style is and how to develop that, like you said my knowledge of anatomy is very lacking as do show my drawings. And my lines I find them very very ugly and I dont like drawing that way, im trying to find my spin in drawing. Thanks for the tips bud, more is to follow...

LOL. I OWN ALL THOSE BOOKS TOO! and I swear, I still suck at drawing, but what can I do? its because of my lack of trying harder...and perhaps not reading all of the books hehe. just try harder, and use more techniques n stuff, you'll get better. Also, a really great book is Figure drawing by Jack Hamm. I dunno if that is the right title, but it is along those lines, but the author name is correct. This book is perhaps the best 'how to' art book i have bought. so, buy it ;)

Hey hey, I know one of the thing that helped everything from becoming mondane for me was forcing myself out of my comfort zone... which in your case you may have already done but I think it could benifit you not just to have a different subject matter, hell not even a different subject matter, but to use a different media. Give yourself a different way to do what you consider the same thing. Charcoal watercolor, acrylics if you can afford it, same with temper paint. When it comes down to it you are not bad but you may find better control with something that fits your nature better. From the looks of it try charcoal it'll give you the contrast you seem to be looking for. Well it looks like I have already ranted for too long... good luck...
