I would post more often, but I'm loaded down with classes and finals. Graduating from High School a year early isn't easy.

Believe me, I've been practicing drawing, but to scan in pics and get them on my computer is so time consuming that I can very rarely do it, if at all. Once I have some actual free time I will definitely be back into DSG 100%.

Great work, everyone that still does it. The reason so few people are posting is that alot of us kids are studying for our final exams (like me). Give it another week or two and things should be back up to normal traffic levels.

shouldnt we sort out topics that doesnt have a direct relation to design & conception?

I mean, topics like "Imagination" or "Sleep" bring out nice weird pics, but they are not "conceptual" topics.
Sure, you have to think of a nice interpretation and visualization of the theme, but at least, DSG is about designing and concepting, right?

Cucaracha, that's not true. You could very well be asked to design a sleepy character, the den of a hibernating bear, or layout a shot showing someone awakening from a thousand year spell. What if you were asked to design the Princesses bedchamber from Sleeping Beauty? Or Rip Van Winkle? Knowing what colors, symbols, shapes and postures imply the concept of "sleep" would be neccessary. Perhaps it's a bit general, but I think it's a valid concept. But maybe you're right, more specific concepts might be more appropriate for DSG.
