This picture includes two 'finally'-s:
1. finally I draw something again (that doesn't look like absolute crap)
2. finally I participate in the DSG again :^^:

or actually... THREE finally-s, because
3. I finally have a new Wacom pen
(the old one didn't work anymore, so I went back to the shop where I bought it, and today I got a new one... after two weeks... I seriously had trouble adjusting to the wacom-less state :S, but now, it's finally back...)

And it's just fooling around with the Oils and Blenders in Painter 8. And I couldn't get me to make this little cat more android like... Now it's like... the catversion of Seven of Nine or so :P

Originally built as industrial espionage drones, these "bugs" had only a short leap to AI, giving them the realisation of dangerand the need to breed to protect their survival.
Painter (since I didn't wont to bother with the scanner which is in my bro's room) a few hours on and off

Sorry for being late with this, but I had internet troubles yesterday. Good work everyone. I really like the turnout with this one. The reason I picked a raccoon is sometimes when I'm up late at night doing artwork at the kitchen counter, raccoons will come up to the window and eat from a platform we put bird seed on.

It's been an awfully long time since I've been on the circuit...

discovered the "magic combine" option for layers..cut draw time considerably..that and tenticles are sooo easy--it's the theme on this year in my doodles. 1 hour...

Maybe this is sonja's secret?

magic combine on one layer
multiply on another to do the actual coloring

....but without AWSOME pencils to scan in, it's all moot.

must work on pencils must work on pencils......

Maybe this is sonja's secret?

I've not used magic-combine on anything i've done but if it works for you, that's great! :Dhttp://www.conceptart.org/forums/images/ca_icons/thumbsup.gif
