Greetings,
Im doing some research for class on animator Frank Thomas. I believe he worked for Disney. I'm very ignorant on the subject because I'm leaning more towards illustration as my focus of study at this point in time. If anyone can offer a website or any other information that can be of use, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanx...... alger

there's a movie about Frank and his long time colleague (sp?) and friend Ollie Johnston. it's called, aptly enough, Frank and Ollie. Frank Thomas is also one of the "Nine old Men" the Nine top animators in the golden age of disney. There is at least one book about them called.. "The Nine Old Men" :) Frank and Ollie together wrote THE best book on animation EVER called The Illusion of Life. it has a biography section on all of them as well. Frank Thomas is a brilliant, wonderful animator, you should be able to find plenty about him if you look in the right places. try typing "Nine old Men" into google, or your seach engine of choice.
The scene he is probably the most renowned for is Bambi and Thumper ice skating in "Bambi".

hope that helps.

you may also try looking under "Frank and Ollie" as their names are almost always mentioned as one word. like Franknollie. :)
