Impressive stuff so far, ure work gots character but i think most people will apprecoate it if u hotlink ure images. Put these tags around the link. and it will make it show up directly in the forum. U can do this by easily typing the link then selecting it and clicking the little image button above the writing space.
Looking forward to more :D.
EDIT:
LOLOL... too late uve already changed it.

I think you got a great future ahead if you just keep working!
That last one shows a lot of the potential that you have in you. I don't know what your plans are, but if you're looking to someday have a career in this it's definatly possible.

I asked Profil on the Mirc channel to give me an idea for a chreature. He wanted a big creature that still could move fast and with a head he kille his prey with, a running fist. A fist with 6 legs.

Jens: yeah i have to keep my ass working, sometimes when ive been drawing for an hour or so i can feel i get somekind of flow, thats when i have fun.
I dont know if i want to work in the movie or game industry, ill see where the future takes me. I have to learn how to scan and compose my sketches better so its easier to scan the crap.
Blog: here ya go.

The snake/man/creature is defiently you're best, I also like the hands going into the eye sockets and cheaks of the persons face. Reminds me of little kids how they curl their fingers and turn my hands upside down to make it look like they have glasses. Post some more please:)

Those last painting are pretty cool some of them just look embossed. Quit downing yourself man, youll do a bit better when you do.At leats you can draw, unlike me. I havent been able to make anything in months.

hmm.. i kinda like your last designs, but i don't like the colors. They seem a bit muddy. Study some more color theories. You seem to combine boring colors in 1 pic.
this one (http://img285.imageshack.us/img285/5713/clone0419di.jpg) is neat, but it would look more exciting if you threw some blues in there. Right now it's as if you picked 3 versions of the same color only in light, midtone and shadow. That's what flattens the pics.
Finish some of this stuff, man. It's got potential. >:D

Thanks guys.
Ive been thinking alot for a few hours now and i kinda hit the nail with my basic problems are. The thing that most of painters take for granted and have in their mind kinda automatic is what colors "give birth" to other colors. Kind of hard to explain with my so-so english and i.q but i will give it a shot.
When you see a white sheet of cloth from like your bed you know you can see some blue and maybe some green in the white depending on your enviroment, the problem i have when i paint is that i cant see what colors that brings out other colors. Maybe thats why my paintings are kinda monotone like Cookiedough (KISS) said, i choose ONE colors for the skin, ONE color for the mechanic and so on, and then i work with just that one colors in different chroma and values, what i now have to work with is colortheory but i dont want to go down to hard on that so i dont get burned out like ive been with sketching and anatomy studies. And im working on with getting more Texture in my paintings and to get more texture i think its easier in photoshop but the brushes in painter are so much nicer when it comes to the "feeling". But i guess i will just plugg away working with both programs.
Right now painting feels pritty good (pimping my new wacom and all) but as you can see its all simple shapes i know how to handle, i know if i tackle something harder like a human body, REALISTIC human body im in trouble.
I know some anatomy pretty detailed but i dont really know the shapes of the muscles and the shapes of the average human, i think more life drawing will help with that. Not just drawing humans but pretty much anything i have to figure out how to apply shadows and highlights on so i can learn how shapes really look like in 3d space.
I will try to look more possetivly on my own stuff, i am kinda hard on my self sometimes. Before i thought that was good, its was making me better but in fact its just burning me out and making me less productive.
And now i dont really know what im talking about so im off to bed.

Heres a tip for ya'll.
I was drawing an arm and though of making just an arm study, and then i started to color it and thought "hmm might as well make the pectoral" so i did and it was in the wrong angle making the arm look dislocated. Ah well live and learn.
Trying more colorzx, arm study from memory. This pic is pritty much 1:1 size
(anatomy practice needed)

I was feeling frustrated today with my paintings, maybe because i was trying out different brushes and they didnt work out as i wanted them to do.
so i went back to the old techniques and old colors.
I didnt expect any good results but when i was working on it i thought "why not post a wip and show how i work"
so here ya go, wip
First i sketched the thingie out on a different layer then i painted the whole "canvas" the main color and started to pluck away, the bg will be different later"
http://www2.freepichosting.com/Images/421617858/3.jpg
and yes the anatomy is exagerated and so on...

I likes a lot Crash. I really like your color stuff. Very solid has a lot of shape to it. I'd suggest drawing from life a lot more though especially faces. Your faces still seem to be from your head a lot, not really how faces are but how you think faces are. Should study them a little more and whatnot. Very nice stuff though man love your monsters. Got creativity oozing out of your butt.
