Hey tabris.17,
wohoo, cool, ur 17. Haha, welcome to Concept Art man.

Ur drawing are good for a start dude. The portraits are really good practise.

Well i cant comment on your work because these are the first posts u had here, so I'll give u an advice, which mostly everynone else will give u here.

1- Start drawing Anatomy.
2- Learn the prespective.

well, i can give ya the link to get the most usefull books u can get to stuty Anatomy. If u start these. Ur human drawing and portraits will become great. I can see u have a good creativity.

Get some books, well there are 3 different good authors: George Bridgman, Andrew loomies, Burne hogarth .
U've got to look at each and think which one seems handier to u, which one u like the most, there is no difference, they are all great, same concepts at the end, but different ways. go to library and look for their books, and even go and search for other artsit too that teach How to draw human figures.

So, these are the books u can buy em from any book store, or even order from Amazon, or book from library :)

Drawing Human HEAD (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0823013766/qid=1107828857/sr=2-1/ref=pd_ka_b_2_1/103-0962723-3784639) Bridgman's Complete Guide to Drawing from Life (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0517255464/qid=1107828956/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/103-0962723-3784639?v=glance&s=books) Constructive Anatomy (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0486211045/qid=1107829010/sr=2-1/ref=pd_ka_b_2_1/103-0962723-3784639) Heads, Features and Faces (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0486227081/qid=1107829010/sr=2-2/ref=pd_ka_b_2_2/103-0962723-3784639) The Book of a Hundred Hands (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/048622709X/ref=pd_bxgy_img_2/103-0962723-3784639?v=glance&s=books)

Thanks for the replies Heroic. I usually don't post a lot. I'm a bit shy ^^''... I'll try to loosen up a bit. The blue thing was actually one of those little japanese toys that keep nodding when you put them in the light :dur: .. It was there... I felt like drawing... so yeh. :teeth:

Anyways. More random studies/sketches

Hey tabris.17,

wow man, great studies.
The lsat one whithout ref is a cool gesture.

try to draw more with pen and pencil, its great u try wacom too. But if u get your hands on the pencil and paper, and draw more with that, wacom will be easier.
Its good though that u did 2 digital works.
I like the mytearts of blood more.

Keep it up dude,

I think the life drawings are the best.

Your faces from imagination could use a bit more variation. Something you could do is when you're on the bus or walking on the street is to look at people and try to remember how they look. I don't mean keep staring cause i don't think many people appreciate that :). I do this constantly and i think it has greatly increased my capacity to imagine stuff. Don't just do it with faces but with hands, objects, poses etc..

Hope this helps!
