What should I do to improve this? Probably paint the figure in opaques and lose the outlines. Any suggestions on colours?

Very Nice. I dig the comic-style. The first one reminds me of a Rand-Holmes Cover and the danger-girl comic at the same time. IŽd rather like to see black outlines and shading in the background than having them dropped of the female.

The second one looks cleaner, more precise. But the first one got atmosphere.
