has these in there too. they scanned in a different shade. scanned em in at different times. they scanned in dark, tried to lighten them. they look a little saturated. my apologies.

Very nice, the red pencil is interesting. Could you post larger scans? I'd like to see the marks a bit clearer.

whew that's inspiration Dave,
I'd be worried about my own work ethic if I hadn't stayed up all night drawing.
We gotta pull some serious pieces out this spring break!

These are very nice. I like the line quality, and I wish they were bigger. We share the same sketchbook!:D
Mine is toned as well, i juice up the opacity on mine so that you can see it better, mine don't scan well either.
no update? :(
P.S check out my stuff in "my daily sketchbook" thread!

this one was just a 3 in the morning sketch of some painting i wanna do someday as being the leader of hells army, with like skeletal legions behind me. who knows.

ok these are just 3 gesture pages i did the other day. they turned out ok.
http://www.rsad.edu/~dgreco/30sec.jpg
30 second gestures. i throw in random face studies.
http://www.rsad.edu/~dgreco/1min.jpg
1 minutes gestures
http://www.rsad.edu/~dgreco/2min.jpg
2 minutes gestures
... i feel like i got more accomplished with the 30 second ones than anything. i def slowed down durin the 2 minute ones and got almost the same accomplished as the quick ones. anyways. ill post more as they come!! thanks for looking.

man...these are neat!! you have a good sense of line fluidity.
They need some contrast though....i liked the one from the profile a lot!

These are very nice. Exactly what sketchbook is that? I've been looking for one with that kind of tone.

all it is, is just a reclyced sketchbook. the recycled paper has a nice tone to it

i agree completely atmos. i find it hard for myself to push some areas really dark to give it good contrast. still have to work on that. i rely to much on line sometimes and not value.
