My first update, here are my most recent works, I'm starting to use the wacom so the backgrounds are a bit blah :p C&C are very welcome :)

The first one was a cover for a essay I made with some friends. The title was "illustration and the new media"

This was a newspaper article called "Navy cadet is strangled by five friends and survives"
I had to made it in one day, started about 10am and finished at 6pm

This was another article about rich people evading taxes and blaming my country (Portugal) crises. Also had to make it in one day

And finally a concept work about identity I made for university.
If the image is too big tell me and I'll resize it.

hah nice! great imaginative pieces, don't lose that:) nice touch on the first one with the image blur in the foreground. i think the perspective of the top half of the pencil seems a bit off compared to the bottom half (beneath fingers) if it's straight from reference then nevermind, but that brace where the clip plugs in seems like it's a little wonky. on the 3d arm sticking out i think it'd be super nice to reflect some of the color of the hand and pencil on it, to really tie it all together, they feel like such seperate elements right now. and give it just a hint of bounce lighting too since it's on petty stark paper with hard lighting on it.

i like your treatment of characters too, they nice and loose, but still very solid.
keep it up man

That's exactly it! I couldn't understand why the arm felt so "pasted" in the whole image, I forgot the bounce light from the hand and pen! :D this is why i love this forums. Always amazing advice.
As for the hand and pen i used a photo as reference but i forgot to measure the pencil perspective since i was to worried with the hand wringles :P you are right it is sort of wrong.
Thanks for the help.

What about the other pictures? Any C&C?

well there's some minor anatomical issues with the navy guy pic but i think it works with your style. on the rich guy picture i'd say you should stick to a coloring style that compliments your line style, the environment paintjob seems a little out of place, looks a little like filter work as well. I'd say keep it simple like the coloring of the characters or maybe just experiment with it more. The photo real moon is kinda strange in there as well, but deadlines are deadlines:) the sphere one is just neat, i like the shadow man in it and the object itself is just neat. maybe it'd be extra sweet if the shadow man's hand was in the foreground like it was holding the sphere from the bottom, and still be cast in the background as well, kinda trippy like..eh? eh? right now the way the his right hand is it looks like it's getting shoved into it, i think maybe pull that one back and put him at an angle that makes it look like he's in the background, but with his left hand on the sphere in the foreground..or something:)

I really dig the frist piece too. I think it would be super cool if the 3D arm had a partial (read incompleted) texture map on it too.

You do nice work.

I agree with the moon in the rich one, I wanted to pant one but had no time to do so, it's the element I dislike the most.
I don't understand what you said about filters, you mean the texture of the clouds and the floor or the whole color of the imagem?
It was my first cenario painted with a digital pen and I'm still trying to understand the differente brushes but I used no Photoshop Filter.

About the hand, again it was deadlines that ruined it, my idea was to make a cell shaded 3D hand with some reflections, but had no time so went for the clay one.

Thanks for all the CC :^^:
