Hi there!

How are you all? :) Yep, yet another newbie to the forum ... I admire a lot of the great talents of this forum. The work posted here is very inspiring, and I'm glad I found this forum.

Here's the latest piece of work. It was done in Painter 7 in a few hours ... it's also my very first completed painting in this version of the program. The watercolours do scare me some. :p I'm kinda embarassed to post my art because it's not up to par with the stuff here ... but anyways, I'd be happy to receive comments. Thanks!

ummo: Thank you. :) And yep, it's a girl ... I think it'd be strange if it was a boy, wouldn't it?

Landmate: Faye Valentine? Oh, you're refering to the Cowboy Bebop gal, heheh. I actually never noticed that until you mentioned it, but the girl here's got long hair. Must be the hair at the temple areas that makes it look like Faye's style. :D

Atmospheria: Well, creepy cute was what I was going for ... so at least I succeeded in one thing. :p Hm, yeah, I see the unbalanced eye thingy. Thanks for pointing it out!

Tweaked the saturation of the hair and the eyes ... but I don't know if the eyes are still unbalanced. :confused:

Giant Robo is awesome, but you dont see much fan art of it.

ummo: Thank you for visiting. :) I really appreciate it ... though, my site is seriously in need of a major update soon. :D Wow, the last thing I expected was to find a fellow fan of Giant Robo here!

Yeah, it's a great anime series ... I only wish that more anime series like that could be produced nowadays. I feel that too many series now are looking way too 'digitized' for their own good, both American and anime. :P And yep, you're right, there's so little fan art of Giant Robo ... except maybe in Japanese artist websites.
