colored character sketch

Just finished coloring this sketch I did of one of my characters. It was done loosly on Painter 7 as I'm trying to get faster with coloring. I need to since I have to do a lot more of these in the weeks to come.

I think it looks great!! You said you were trying to improve your speed with colouring. How long did it take you to do this one compared to others?

Hi Drawnblud, this took me around 5 hours I think. I didn't really keep track. But my more finished illustrations take a week or even two sometimes. I need to get to where I can get these down in a few hours so I can do two or maybe three a day.

Yeah, it takes me about 6-8 hours to colour some of my work as well. I too, have been trying to improve the speed, so that I can get more work done :D !!

This is a really good sketch...colors are cool too...but there are some anatomic issues on it...there is too much way between the ear and eye...it could be shorter...But maybe it's just me...anyway..cool sketch...keep it up man..:cool:

Looks great.. I checked out your site, you have some cool charecters boiling up.. :)

I think his leg seems a little small to me, but other wise he looks good..
