Just looking for some CRITS on this picture...Please.

I'd also like to know what I did wrong on the anatomy in this picture here (http://www.pyxz.com/users/1045681803/1045681803-1045815438-0.jpg). I know I already posted it, but I would really like to know what I'm doing wrong here, cuz the anatomy still looks really fucked.

I like it, but his body is too female

I'm not seeing where his torso/chest area looks feminine. Could you be a tad more specific, please?

it was the belly and the chest.
I first thought of a woman because he looked like he has breasts.
But you're right, it's correct if there's just a bit fat (ugh bad english, dunno how to say) :)

I'll be sure to pay more attention to that next time...Your right, though, his chest area is a little too breast-ish looking.

(It'd be: "...it's correct if there's just a bit of fat.")

generally speaking, men have shoulders that are broader than their hips, the player's hips seem to be wider in this case. which, if you're looking for proper anatomy, shouldn't be like that. widen his shoulders a bit. also, each shoulder's approximate length is 1 head.

for the 2nd drawing [the lady on the right]: the breasts are too high on the chest cavity. they should be a bit lower. also, her right arm and shoulder arent firmly placed on the torso. they seem to be popping out. trying moving them in a little more. the hips should be a bit wider than the stomach and her head is too big for that body. the arm length and joints are going to need some fixing too.

basically, you should try to figure out the proportions of the human anatomy. try an anatomy book or drawing from life, it helps A LOT.

hope this helped :)

I bought Burne Hodges (? right name ?) "Dynamic Figure Drawing" about a month ago. I figured that all the diffrent perspectives of body parts would make for good referance. Should I go and buy a normal anatomy book to study, or just draw the figures in Dynamic figure Drawing. The reason I ask is that DFD's figures are very complex in their poses/actions, and a normal anatomy book would be better for learning proportions. So, umm...Which is best, I guess?
