What format is best for the digital portion of one's portfolio? This is for RSAD (Illustration) so I'll be sending in slides for the rest of the portfolio.

I could print them out and then shoot slides --- digital printing directly to slides seems pricey ($14 per slide) and takes about a week. I was thinking I'd send a CD with the original files (.psd and .ill) saved in either TIFF or PDF format. If TIFF, what resolution?

Thanks, David

I sent my whole portfolio on a CD. They said just send something that's compatible with all platforms (.tiff or jpeg) I sent mine in tiffs and the longest side didn't exceed 900 pixels. They just want to be able to view it as a slideshow and have it fit on the screen.

It sounds like TIFF format sized to fit a typical screen (800 x 600) or (1024 x 640) would be the best choice then.
