Here is a sketch I did for an upcoming project for my studio class. I have to make a compound drawing. I am going to make 5 drawings on velum and place them on top top of eachother to create a successive compound image of a person becoming more emaciated the more AFO2 he sucks down. My skeletal structure is obviously not very good. I can't find my anatomy book I bought a few years ago and was wondering if anyone could

A: Give me some tips on the skeletal structure or
B: Direct me to an online source of skeletal anatomy

Also critiques on the sketch and the idea, if it made any sense, are very welcome.

Thanks

Well, I am not really one to give you advice on anatomy, God knows how much more I need to work at that. But, I could tell you that you should fix the character so he looks balanced. If you where to be in the same position he is, you would fall right on your face, or in his case, his face will hit the tank. Making a selection and rotating the image a bit could fix it. Sorry I can't help with anatomy stuff.

A good site on skeleton and figure drawing:

Many more sites on anatomy are available on the internet via a simple search.

"Figure Drawing for All it's Worth" has great techniques for constructing figures from the skeleton. Besides, every artist should read it :^^:
