Heya. I just started posting here more lately, I do some Photoshop stuff once in a while for different people and once in a great while a company or two. This is something I did a while back:

The actual picture is much bigger, so those 'rings' do not show up in higher resolutions. Crits and feedback are most welcome, I have a think skin. And I do notice a few discrepancies here. It's sort of an old work, about a year to be sure. Cheers! :^^:

EDIT: Oops, forgot to explain the work, hehe. It's from the cover of a comic book called Hollowpath, and it's sort of meant to be 'old' in a way, kind of a throwback to the semi-early days of comics (60's). Interdimensional travel, guardian angels, mysticism type of stuff. Have a nice day!

I can post more than one in a thread, right? That kosher? If not let me know I'll take it out.

This here's an album cover I made, I sort of drew it on one of those "pads" where you stick a peice of paper on that thing with the light underneath...I screen-capped a movie still and then scanned it to to high res paper and traced it from there, then after all that I photoshopped it a bit, took some of the lines out. #2 Pencil on paper, matey. I did some darkening and cloning in PS too, ah, I cant remember all the stuff I did to it really. I cant stick to one thing, sue me. :^^:

Sure, I was rifling through some of my CDs with my art on them, hehe. I got so much I havent even shown ppl. Here's one I also did in PS:

The actual peice is much larger of course. I call it 'Reptila' hehe, not the best name I guess. I just used a bunch of textures and blended them together, added the reptilian eyes and bam. Maybe took 30 minutes to make it. This kind of stuff isnt as hard as the first 2 I posted above. That stuff actually requires alot more time (for me at least) I find it hardest to 'set up the scene' rather than make it once I have the idea. Cheers! :^^:

The second piece (the one of a crucified Christ) is very, very cool. I like the simple text coupled with that engaging image. As well as the very cold monochromatic feel of it. Really nice. Only thing I could crit is probably the overall texture of the Christ. Is it a filter texture? If it is, maybe you can mask it by varying the intensity of the filter for certain areas, so it won't have a very uniform texture and make it look more organic or natural. Other than that, this cover rocks.

I didn't completely read the whole description on the Christ piece. So its not a filter, my bad :S Cheers.

Yeah that one is from early '03 I believe. I hadn't quite gotten down the blending properties feature in PS at that point. I have a different version somewhere, I'll look for it. Thanks! :^^:

Here are a few more shots of stuff I've done. This one is not very old, a 'self portrait' done in a dark style using PS blending options and some textures:

These next two were done waaaay back in mid-2002 when I was doing more filter oriented stuff, and using them to muck with drawings. I have an archive of 1800's drawings that I use to use alot of stuff from, it's all royalty free junk, most of it is worthless, but these two came out nicely:

Which is the light side, and...

Which would be the dark side. I call them both 'A Study of Aura'. At least that's the title of the folder they were in, hehe. I got about 50 pretty good works from more than 2 years back. Lots of album covers, messing around....it's all finished stuff but probably could be better. :^^:
