Thought I'd hop on the over-laden bandwagon and start my own thread. All I have right now is one drawing but I hope to have more up soon. Sorry I have to link it this way:

This is my first time using Charcoal and blending stumps. I've had them for awhile, though, and decided that tonight was the night to use them. I went through my sketchbook looking for something to shade and found some lineart of a giant that had been seriously wrinkled during a fight with my brother the testosterone junkie.
I'm working very hard to improve my knowledge of anatomy and am studying out of a book by Bridgman called "Complete Guide to Drawing from Life." I'd say my second-most concern with my art is shading / creating believable and consistant light-sources. These are the 2 things I tried to accomplish with this WIP, though I think I invented a few muscles when drawing this dude. To be able to do both of these as well as Wes9000 has recently become my ultimate aspiration.
Anyway, I'm not sure why I have to turn every post into a noveletta. Feel free to forget everything you just read. :D
