It looks more like a Bodybuilder with sideburns and hairy forearms...try to implement more elements which makes a monkey a monkey...

ok.. I know the cartoon style is to remove a finger but in order to keep it a monkey you'll need more than two fingers on the rear paws...
The expression is kind of funny tho :)
