I used to play so much damn CS right up 'til they had all the problems with cheaters. I thought CS Source would fix the problem, or at least be cool for a while before the cheating starts, but about 4 days after it came out I played on a server where someone had a speed hack >:{

I may give it another shot ... though it's really not good for my drawing skills :(

My original clan is /-//< (Hippie Killers), but we didn't think we had enough people that play the game to play on any ladders, so we joined forces with [*=] (Stars and Stripes) clan. They were a clan we use to practice with when we use to play the game Vietcong (hence our clan name of Hippie Killers). We are currently on Nato-Ladder under [*=].

I also make maps for the game, so keep an eye out for de_silo and de_dropoff. Silo is almost done, but I just started on Dropoff. My first map was de_workplace (http://bracomadar.0catch.com/maps/workplacebeta.zip), but it didn’t get distributed enough.

My best friend, Hambone, runs a very well-done CS server. It sits on its own T1, and the server itself has been tweaked to hell and back to give you a great ping:

It's a great place to play. No singing 13-year olds, no AWP-ers, no BS. There are a lot of new people on there lately, but a lot of old regulars. Very laid-back place to be. Lots and lots of custom maps, on both servers--and the map downloads are on a different machine, so they download very, very fast. You'll be in the game in a minute or less, depending on your connection.

Give it a try. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself.

Edit: I should point out that this is a teamplay server. So bring a microphone, and get ready to take it slow and easy with lots of chatter and working together to win the round. Running around and deathmatching your way through the round isn't the best way to play on this CS server.

Unfortunately the new ATI Radeon 9600 XT 256mb I bought a few months back doesn't want to cooperate with my motherboard, so I can't play source. Before source came out I was a CS ADDICT. Love the game.

Muff that is pretty old dude, there is also another one at a huge LAN expo where they catch some guy hacking, take his pc and send it tumbling across the parking lot, totally fixed.

I still can not believe how Rampant Source is with h4xors already, it is blowing me away. Then again it is par for the course with cs anyway but I thought at least it might take a while with the new engine.

I have been playing on the CanadianShire servers at rt66's, there have been guys who are 38/3 against well seasoned clan guys
