Here's an aquatic monster. I didn't do any kind of watery background with crazy lighting or anything. Just wanted to get the design across. Plus, I'm still using a mouse. :smirk:
I'm planning on doing a few more sea monsters, but with more exotic designs with shells and tentacles and such.

If the gills were bigger the beast would look more dangerous...maybe it's even biologically necessary for its size, but i am not a biologist...

Yes! Now tha Scotty mentioned a godzilla embryo, that's what it kind of reminds me of. Excellent work though.
With a mouse? imagine what you can do with a wacom!

Thanks for the comments and crits. Yeah, I need to vary my designs a lot more..re-hashing the same elements is something I'm unconsciously doing all too often. This whole week I'm going to do some really different stuff and see how it goes. Thanks again. :)

nice stuff aaron. i wish i could do creatures as well as you. this piece has a nice feel and the dude helps a lot to convey scale.
