I'm pretty sure I want to go to art school (I want to go into 3D animation -- doesn't everyone  ), but I'm not sure how to go about choosing. Obviously I have considered Ringling. I've also thought about Risd and some other schools. I was just wondering how to go about this process. I'm a junior, so I'm really starting to think about colleges.
I was also thinking about maybe a school like Carnagie Mellon.
I'm not sure what my question is, really. This whole process is rather overwhelming.
Any general advice?

well before you go anywhere you should know what kind of art you want to study? do you want to study modern fine art?..if so then perhaps the boston museum school.....do you want to study traditional animation...then perhaps cal arts is the place.
give me some more info....and we can help point you in the right direction.
here is a list of schools.
