Very cool pic... sort of like Matrix meets Hitman meets The Fly :p

Multifaceted eyes is it? :D

Spirituus is right...the background distracts the viewer from the figure...if you're too lazy to change it, just increase the brightness and desaturate it!

Ahh.... The absence of saturation reminds me of some of the older Heavy Metal cartoons. Ad astra, Nostalgia.

i think that your colors work but they feel very conservative. the way you approached the skin tones is very value based, maybe that's why it looks flat in some places...i.e. like the hand holding the gun and where the ben of the left leg is. it looks flat. what i would suggest is to try different color combinations to heighten the intensityof colors. maybe add some hint of complimentary colors to the shadow areas to give the shapes more form. right now, your background is taking to much away from the figure because the bckgrd contains more colors which gives it volume while the character is flat. it's hindering the piece rather than helping it.

i hope this helps you out.

I think the drawing is great, but I think the colors need to be distributed in the piece a little better. I get no sense of reflected light or color, and because of that it seems to flatten out a bit. You could glaze in warm tones in the background and add greens and blues in the shadows of the skin. Also, you could give the skin a better sense of where the blood in the body is. I know you want the skin to pale (which is fine), but you could still add some subtle reds or browns in the cheeks, nose and hands to give him a more fleshy look. One person who does this to amazing effect is Jon Foster (jonfoster.com). Maybe his site could give you some ideas.

Good work!
