Hay guys. After the workshop, I decided that it would be better to post more and to try and make more of a presence for myself. Here is something I started working on last night. If you have any comment or crits, please let me know. I'm also looking for direction on how I could make it better.

Hi everyone, I know you're all nice and busy, and that's all fine and good, but I was just hoping to get a little feed back. I'll bump this guy one time and one time only. If no one wishes to comment, then I'll put it to rest. Thanks guys, I know you're out there.

Looks great to me. :) But I donīt think the bg fit to the hunter/butcher guy. I think it should be a dark and dusty barn, or something. =)

Worldlydave,
Right now, my main concern is the character's backside. Looking at his belly, it would seem he'd be more rounded around his torso; he seems to flatten out just behind the animal carcass. Draw through the shapes, and feel how--due to his leaning stance--his upper body would compensate for the arch in his spine.
I think adjusting this will give a better silhouette of the animal (dark on light) and a better silhouette of the character (light on dark).
