Hi Guys,
I was hoping to see the other Thunderdome entries. I submitted mine, but wasn't able to see most of the rest while they were displayed cause I was standing in the long ass line to get my second Gnomon DVD. I also don't know who won. Does anyone know which did? And what did they win? Did the runner ups get anything?
(I didn't see a thread like this anywhere, but if there already is one please point me in the right direction, thanks!)

Hey Yumiko! I have a bunch of pictures I took of my favorite TDome entries in my photo gallery (http://www.forestzachman.com/gallery/sanfran2004) including who the winners were, and names where I know who did what. Of course, that's less than half of all the submissions.
As for prizes, I know that they asked first place if he wanted a copy of Maya or Painter 9 and he chose Painter. Someone made a joke that he should have taken Maya, sold it, and then bought Painter 9 and had money left over, hehe. I don't know what second place got.

Awesome pic Jessica, I didn't know that was yours. It was next to mine, which was basically just a nekkid lady with mechanical wings... I'd post it but I gave it to bonedog for letting me stay at his house.
It was great meeting you! good luck with that job you got. :teeth:

Here's mine...
I was going for a fallen angel trying to ascend back to heaven while the Hell Ivy tried to bring her back down. It ended up very Un-Angelic as you can see.
And way too much symbolism...
spent about 6 1/2 hours on it;

Hey Tom, you know I dig yours. Although you make me feel like a total dick seeing as I was lucky if I spent a total of an hour and a half on mine.(do you remember the gnarly piece of folded Bristol next to yours) Waaaay too much drinking up in Berkeley. Well I guess it totally shows. Heh, heh.
Great stuff all around everyone.
C'mon Kemp let's get a hold of yours, I remember geeking on yours as well.
Hey, cheers again Calib (took a stab at the spelling) That was a great image and content, I'd love to see a nice high rez. Glad I met ya.
Well here's mine

and here's the initial treatment in my pocket sketchbook to show the what the feet were supposed to end up like.

I was planning on polishing this concept up and posting a painting in the finally finished board. We'll see.
When I heard what the subject was I almost fell out of my chair. Here's a piece I posted on that board just a few months ago...
