Splugorth

Here is another (fanart). It's also from Rifts just like the Wolfen. This was actually done before. It is based on two other pictures. The original concept by Kevin Long and the second one that appears on the cover of the main Rifts book by Keith Parkinson. Comments appreciated.

Your drawing method is good, the blends and contrast --- all of that is good. But the image itself, perhaps more work could have been done in the rough stages? I have a hard time reading what's going on in the image.

I like all the details in the image independently, but together I don't quite know what I'm looking at.

Well it's supposed to be this creature called "slaver" from some kind of intelligence called Splugorth. If you ever played Rifts you would know what it was because it's on the cover of the main Rifts book. Anyways I did it in profile ... probably the cofusion comes from the fact that you see only its upper body (no arms or tentacles .. well only one tentacle is visible). I just rendered that part.
