A Tribute to Revenge - needs help...

Hey there!

So what is my problem? I plan to paint this sketch, I finally finished and already cleaned and overpainted a bit with Photoshop. Since painting of realistic leather stuff takes ages, I want that at least the "beginning step" of it looks correct so here it is:

The style there is heavily inspired by the game "Fable" you may know. I am not sure if I will use Painter or Photoshop for this one, any suggestions you can make there? What should I fix? How should I color?

the pose could be more interesting, he's holding the sword like its really heavy and hes dragging it behidn him, but the rest of his body is just standing in place . Why's he holding the sword like that?

Then theres a tiny bit of blood*(?) on the floor with seemingly no relationship between it and the character or what hes doing. I just dont get whats supposed to be happening.

Yep, I forgot to add.. what's the story behind the piccy, sorry :^^;:
He drags the sword behind him, but finally he stopped looking at the things which happened before him, the blood stain is just random there, I plan to add a destroyed house or a burning house behind him and some injured people..etc. not sure yet.. I will add some sketches for the background, if I get my private scanner back. :wink:

That expression is just a thing I can't get done....
I think my "modell" finally gets some pain in the face always staring that way, I should send her home for today.. :dur:

Wuah.. *shudders* he has some really big dark eyes, I tried to make them smaller but than it looses that "stylish" thing I wanted to be in there, I tink there is still this problem with the wrinkles around the mouth... I just don't know where to put them... :^^;:

I think I will make some of the Leather-stuff at next.. or the sword.. *hmja* Shiny..

mew, his expression is still more than odd... I just can't get that insane touch in there, I don't want him to look too young, etc. The expression should be somehow "obsessed" or whatevery you could call that.. grr... :nohope:
