I saw this on the eatpoo forums and thought it was fun.
So,here's the deal:
I'll start with posting a piece of art from someone most people on this forum should recognize.
It's your job to figure out who created the piece and then post a new one.
Easy and (hopefully) fun! :bashful:
So here's the first one:

This one might be hard,
In my opinion, this guy is one of the best painters today.
http://www.gustavus.edu/oncampus/academics/art/Birmilen.Window.jpg
he is one of the most underrated painters alive today-
jerome witkin.
some might know his more famous, twin brother, photographer joel peter witkin...

Saturnino Herran (sp)
The Offering
not so obscure but I suppose it helped having a graphic design teacher who was mad on his stuff.

young paddy1- He is really obscure if you don't know who brangwyn is. But if you had a teacher who liked his stuff.... I would say the majority won't have a clue.

Blind: isn't there another one where they've just got the head?Hmmm... not sure. I think I've seen some detailed close ups of certain parts of the painting. But as far as I know that version above is the full canvas.
