:yayca: Here we all go of to our own corners of the world... *sniffle*

I will always remember DJ Swamp in the way I will remember the Quiznos meatball sub tearing its way through my stomach lining and into my esophagus.

And a big thank you to the instructors, sponsors, and enthusiastic artists who sacrificed days of sleep to make the workshop all the more amazing. A huge thanks to Alberto, Ned and the roomies, who kept a lookout over me when things weren't looking so hot.

...and, THANK YOU to everyone who sat down to look at our portfolios and tirelessly offered honest and helpful feedback.

And a big thank/screw you to the weather. Raise your hand if you have a cold after wading through 4 inches of rain water!

Yeah, looking for food through that rain was quite an experience :) Good thing water just runs back into the ocean. Unlike the damn foot of snow which I had to shovel this morning :)

Hey Everyone

its the first morning after and were all already miserable cause its all over. The workshop was an amazing experience, very different from the previous one i attended (amsterdam) but equally informative. Its gonna take a few more days to properly absorb all the information we recieved and the things we saw. The workshop instructors were all talented and very different in their approaches, a pleasure to watch. Meeting everyone was awsome too- so many of you are now faces to go with names and avatars- and youre all a hella bunch a cool, talented friendly people i cant wait to see again. It was an honor to be at the workshop and be in the presence of all these amazing instructors and students alike. I miss everyone already and cant wait for the next one!!!!! Ive got my CA fix for the next six months- all the excellent crits i recieved have given me an idea of my week points and a direction to follow and now im motivated and ready to draw full speed ahead!

THANK YOU to the hardworking production team that made the workshop possible. There were many hands and hearts involved and please know that we all appreciate every minute of the effort and dedication youve put into these events.

we are all so fucking fortunate to be here. There really isnt any pther place like this in the world, online OR off.

pictures as soon as i can upload them!

Gotta say, that kicked all sorts of ass. Hell, just hanging out with you guys goofing off was well worth the money. I'm totally bummed it's all over. I miss you guys!

We should all move to San Francisco and do this all year long. Real life is stupid.

The hugest thanks to Massive Black, all the instructors and everyone else involved with putting this together. One of the highlights of my life, without a doubt.

I has so much fun with all of you! I was a fantastic experience I won't forget, and meeting everybody, doing portfolio reviews that kicked my butt real hard, and watching masters at work was really amazing. I loved the "emotioneering" lecture... the idea of having a lot of content behind the designs is very appealing and it was good to hear.

Thanks to everybody who was so nice to me, and took time out to check out my stuff and let me ask questions.

DJ SWAMP roxxors. 4 Life. To the maxx.
As does Insect Battle...long live the wasp! I'll post some of my pictures soon, I'm already missing everybody like crazy! And yes, I contracted the cold/flu of Doom, as well. At least it was after the workshop.

Thanks for all the people who put on this event, the instructors who came, and the companies who offered feedback.

Daaaaw, sorry to hear you're so sick, Sapphire. While I've finally been able to christen my once again fully-functional digestive tract, I wonder if I may also be getting a taste of your own Thunderdome Syndrome.

I hope you are doing better and I'm really happy to have been able to meet you. Drop me a line on DA!
