hey peeps.

just wanted to let you know that "les cahiers du designer" number 07 has been released in france. unfortunately, that book is only in french. pfff! damn!
still, we're happy to have finished that thing.

9 artists are featured, including bengal, ornicar, and me.
there's also a tutorial done by our friend marguerite sauvage.

explaining our humble photoshop techniques, on ten pages for each tutorial.
i'll try to put more infos on there for the ones who find it interesting.

If I was able to speak, padon me, read french, i would definatly buy this book...
Well unfortunatly I cannot! So i´ll have to wait till some Startrekish multilanguage translator comes out, or someone translates this book...

you could probably translate the text, and spread it over the net, so folks can buy this book, download the translated text and have fun with the book.

It seems like you guys could (and should!) get this published in other languages! Perhaps by the publisher: "Charles River Media"...? Don Seegmiller's book (great book!) was published through them.

I hope to one day get an English copy of y'alls book! I look forward to hearing/seeing more about it.

spartacus: i didn't even know about these books. why not have one in english. please. PLEASE!!! all i remember from french class is "je vais a la plage" and "je mange le biftec". hell, i don't even know if that's right.

i and many others would probably buy the book if the tutorial was translated....in a thread...somewhere....here maybe.:p

THis is so cool! I was able to read that whole page of French after only taking 2 years of it back in High School.. shit that was like 6 or 7 years ago.. heheh

I have to read in between the lines, but wow.. maybe I will pick it up...

I agree BC1967.i t looks like a really good book. Their is also a concept design book with artist Scott Robertson , J.Clyne who did the designs for Minorty Report,also Harlad Belker and others( can't think of names right now), but i am sure you guys know this:D .

we are sorry dudes but it doesn't depend on us if it is translated or not, and since the publisher is not a pretty big one, i guess the translation won't happen.

anyway, for those who want to know more or how to get it, or free samples too, check the adress sparth gave above (with froggy language and all :P )
