Hi,
A few days ago, some of us RPG and fantasy buffs sat down and discussed what is wrong with the current crop of MMORPG's. The grievances were many. This discussion continued till we hit on an idea that got us quite shaken up. Under the name of Twisted Studios, this team of people wishes to make this idea a reality.
For the same, we need you! Especially if you are a capable hand at concept design, story teling or art. The company and the game are very much in the infancy and the game has to moulded in detail. But the possibilities we are discussing are large.
From the start, this game will focus on the one concept that is true in reality - the price of information. In our world, information and knowledge would be the greatest prize, unlike that uber sword you see in every other RPG. The inclination to know more in an ever - evolving world is the USP of our idea.
The theme of the game itself is gothic and to a certain degree horror. To explain this, consider the lack of information. If you dont know something, the fear of not knowing persists. (similar to the fear of the dark) We strive to work on this concept.
As with every start up, and the title of this forum, the posts are voluntary and non-paying ...for now. But if this thread has you interested, do E-Mail or PM me. The chance to create a detailed world of fantasy, not unlike the chance that Tolkien or Herbert or Jordan used is rare to come by. So do help out...this could do VERY well.
