Meet up in SanFran on the 6th

It would be great to meet up somewhere cozy and cool on the 6th, say around 9pm MayaSan and I would show up.

Anyone know of good place to hang, eat dinner, draw and have a great time?

at the hotels everyone is staying at. no one really went anywhere on the night before in austin so im guessing its will be the same. but then again an ihop was only like 20 feet form the hotel. but your best best would be to go to the hotels and see everyone sketching like mad in the lobby

As Intern mentioned, I was planning to hang out in the lobby area to sketch and meet CA'ers. Once we get a big crew together we should hit IHOP or something.

Layil – I'm staying at SamOs place, which I don't know exactly where it is, but I'm sure we'll be hanging at the galleria lobby on the 6th. We'll most likely do an earlier dinner (around 7-8) but we'll (MayaSan and I) will love to join you if we're still awake ;)
If we're in the galleria lobby when you show up we'll do dinner but if we're not there we've already hit the sack and we'll catch you at the workshop. OK?

As I understood it this "IHop" joint is suppose to be right next to the galleria so if the galleria lobby is dead check out that place for CAers...

But we'll be sure to hang in the galleria lobby between 10 and 11 if we're not already sleeping (long flight, yeah...?) Are you flying in from Spain?

This summer a triple A game is coming out called "Just Cause" that I did 4 months of concepts on. Hope it turns out good. Rancid turned out pretty good :)

I got here this morning (5th) and I've been wandering around chinatown and.. well pretty much everywhere within a few block radius. I can't believe how cool this city is. I'm at the Triton it is literally 2 blocks from the Galleria. I think that's really cool because in Austin the hotels seemed a little further away... it will be cool to bounce from hotel to hotel for the SKETCH JAMS! Damn that really was one of my favorite things about Austin. After the energy was built up from watching the pro's we all sat around and sketched in the books and passed em around. The lobby here is PERFECT to hang out in... comfy couches, chairs, tables, and a fireplace. Plus the whole scene is pretty creative. Good energy here.


I can't wait for friday! Ah yeah, if anyone wants to have a drink I picked up some rum, vodka, beer, and wine today ;) Room 616 stop by and say hello

if you are looking for stuff to do tomorrow, check out the Lichtenstein and Glamour exhibits at the Museum of Modern Art ... both exhibits are excellent with the audio tour.

Yo Rkhon, I've just been through that physical lag. Was awake for about 36 hours. Got a couple hours crash, now I'm gonna try and stay up a bit to get used to the crazy body clock andrew and the others seem to impose on everyone they meet :) See you in the lobby.

Hey beatnik.. We are staying at the triton also. Do you know if they are pretty strict on the check in time?? seems I forgot to take this into consideration. I will have about 5 hours before I can put my stuff in the room if so.. Maybe I will have to stop by and hang at ur place for a while =]

inpho, I got here about 11:30 yesterday and they let me in without a word. I guess it just depends on if the rooms are ready. Check in is at 2 but they should let you in. If not stop my my room and chill a while. Fukifino, Intern, and Sinix are on the road and should be here in about 8 hours... there will be plenty of room here to hang out til then. The rooms are kinda small but really nice... and the lobby is awesome. I only plan on using the room to sleep and shower so it's no big deal.

It's sunny for the first time since i got here. Probably about 50 or so.. nice day. I might head to alcatraz so if I'm not here just check back. See you guys soon! 8)

Oh yeah I still have a full bottle of Captain Morgan and Stoli for later ;)
