Aren't they terrible -- almost like pitched bottles.
What's the terms/rates for the storyboarding?
Tom.

If these guys are not going to pay for artwork, at least they better pay for royalties -in the event this "script" gets funded.
If they just want free work, SCREW EM, this is just sick!!..artists are not a bunch of monkeys that will work for free!!!
If anyone does do this for free, you are just hurting your own proffession and future! Show some respect for yourself and your work!!

Hi,
Since I'm into storyboarding, I read something about rates a while ago which I've been wondering about...
It said: For a character animation [TV episode, I think] the cost of storyboards can be upwards of 2000 pounds for a 20 min show.
What kind of examples of that ilk might anyone be able to show and can they say what the charges were ... etc? There's not a lot of coverage of storyboards on conceptart.org
PS: If anyone knows where I can see drawings by the production designer for Alien4 please let me know.
And ... if anyone is interested in working for the outfit above, ask them to show you their concept art first ... it'd indicate the stature of their project and give you a feel for the content vis yer generous commitment.

Otis we appreciate your concern but all questions are answered on a person to person basis.

Atherium, Not to personally attack you guys, but too many artists (especially ones starting out) get taken advantage of everyday in this industry. There are a lot of good up-and comming artists in this org. that I don't want to get taken advantage of.
I think that these job threads should offer paying jobs only..or else they are not jobs.

Otis we understand exactly where you are comming from, half the team is industrial designers and some even still in their last years in school. But we have alot of experience on the team even with those who have been in those positions of "I just got lied to and totally screwed" And they are the ones who helped write up the NDA's to protect everyone from those exact situations.
We wouldnt be offering this type of project on these terms if we knew a single person wasn't protected both professionally and personally
Thanks Otis.
