Hi, some crit I can come up with. From what I can see, your anatomy needs alot of practice, for example his leg is too big in proportion to his body, and his arm holding the spear is too small. If you are just new to anatomy, try some more easy or "not so dynamic poses". Once you begin getting comfortable with your anatomy begin the more dynamic poses. Some things about your sketch that I like is the foreshortening of the spear was pulled off well, and the details of the sheild are done nicely. Keep practicing your anatomy and you'll get there.

Thx for the reply Snowball ! I had some anatomy studies but i'm still learning. I did this drawing with no reference so its hard to me drawing a perfect anatomy! I started this skecth as a shading study since is a difficult process for me doing it with no reference.

Hey, ya it is quite difficult to draw a good pose with no reference at all when struggling at anatomy. I am still trying to overcome those odds. Since you mentioned that it was mostly meant to be a shading study, then something I can add that could possibly be of some help is, try and keep your focus on where exactly the light is coming from remebering what will be hit directly with light and what will be hit with shadow. Also maybe you can try to be a little less "sketchy" with your shading, unless of course thats your style, I wouldn't want to diss anybodys actual style, but again just a thought. ttyl
