I know Wacom, but don't know anything about Aiptek. Just discovered the ones by Aiptek. www.aiptek.com

An Aiptek 12x9 is only 159.00 as compared to the Wacom at 459.00.

Anybody know anything about the Aipteks? I know it won't be as good, but for a part-time graphic art hobbyist?

I'm a full-time art teacher and only have time to work on my own art at home and on weekends. I'm getting a new computer in the next couple of days.

I can afford to add a Wacom 12x9 or I could add an Aiptek 12x9 and a small second monitor for menus. See my delima?

I use Painter 6 and Photoshop 7 for my own personal use and no computer graphics in my teaching.

Any and all advice, comments, chicken scratches, etc. are appreciated. =)
TIA.
