My 1st image done with a wacom...C & C please.
the style of the painting was more real then a comic.. but not life like... the caption of this image is :

Surfer reaches a new planet... and decides it is just right for the world eater...he looks up to the heavens and contacts his master with a single thought...he's sadden by the beauty of the planet...knowing it will soon be gone

nice, though it looks more like the grey surfer.

try to put more highlights and some gleam on the body and the forehead. any references used?

the shading on the torso and pelvic area seems a bit off, and the cloud needs some more work.

Avoid using poser for work as 99.9 % of the time it's obvious..
Now as for chrome, reflective materials are probaby one of the hardest things to render. You might want to check for references but especially technical concept drawing/presentation turorials. I think Sumaleth (www.sumaleth.com/links/) might have some links to that.
Oh and remember, a cloud is a tridimentional shapes ; just like a pile of cotton :)
