New member, and some RPG pics.

Hey all. I've been lurking around here for a couple of weeks and I gotta say that I am AMAZED at the level of talent around here! Also, everyone seems to have a great attitude...none of the squabbling that seems to happen often at other forums.

Anyway, I am an illustrator for the RPG industry (that'd be the paper kind, not video). Here's a couple pics I finished last week. I know that the compositions are pretty boring, but I'd love some feedback just the same.

the death knight is my favorite too, but the knight of war comes in a close second. i love the ornamental knots on the armor!

All good, and I agree........the death one is my favorite too. The cloth is nicely done, and the face makes me feel like he's coming for me. Let's hope not.:eek: :cool:

I like the last two pieces they are particularly well rendered. Nice, dark and forboding. Not quite so keen on the first image, I think the face lets it down a little. The only other mentionable is the runic script on the sword of the warrior, it seems to be a seperate entity to the sword itself. I would imagine a quite easy fix if you were so inclined.

Hmm... not quite sure why all think you have accidentally titled these Night and not Knight. Could they, perhaps, be Kings of the Night... especially as only one of them is remotely Knightly....the others seem, well... more Magely :P

althogh i like the design of death most, i think that the tones of the first image are very nice... the light is rendered in a very real way... goood job ;)

Well, I daresay that the reason that everyone here has a good attitude and does not engage in petty squabbly is, simply put: because we illustrators are truly the chosen people! Eh wot?
