Not sure what whoever came up with this wants but here goes:
What was once thought to be the proper punishment for serious crimes, has now became a place of fear for honest folk, who believe it has become haunted when a young girl was mysteriously found hung after a snow storm.
It has been decided to torch the gallows in hopes this will defeat whatever foul spiritis may reside inside.
