this is a great page, thats an awsome sketch technique ya got. I really like way that you have graphically simplified the light breaking across the face. Makes for great stylized shapes that really pop.

nah i dont really like those paint markers. xylene....bad. i used letraset tria marker refill ink, prismacolor pencils, and turner design gouache....the underdrawing was done in pencil.

Hell yeah! This one is great. ANd Tria! I use no other marker now, they're fantastic. Hrmmm maybe I need to start experimenting with guache again.. just never got into it in school. I think it was the docktors office smell, heh.
I. Were these from looking at photos.. a mirror? From your head?
II. Could you maybe discuss your color usage sometime? How do you go about decideing which colors to use? Or is it more of a random decision.
III. Color Harmony. How do you keep all your colors in harmony this way when using markers? I mean i kind of got that down when painting because I can limit my pallete from the beginning and mix what I need. Buy with the markers I'm kind of stuck with what's on the rack in the store. And the majority of them always want to clash.
Thanks:chug:
