Hey.. I'm not new to drawing, but I am new to taking it seriously, however it's no excuse for anything, so crit me as hard as you like :)
Oh! And any pics that are painted...are'nt painted by me, just the lineart. I would have put just the line art up, but a recent format has left me basically with what my buddy who uses my stuff to color gave me.
A concept of a character from a comic I want to start making soon. I still like this picture, although I wish I had the guts to do a background for it.

A sad excuse to draw Samus out of suit in a bikini. Her jaw line is a tad large, otherwise I'm fairly pleased.

I have a Master Chief statue that I'm turning into Samus, so I just did a 20 min sketch to get a feel for the character.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/Gatery941/samusquick.jpg
My favorite comic book character, the winged avenger :) I made his hair a bit longer, because that's how I always imagine him looking in my head for some reason. I rather like this one, but the pose seems a tad feminine.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/Gatery941/Robin.jpg
A quicksketch by me and speedpaint by itschoco. Another character from our comic. Is it just me, or does he look a bit cross-eyed? it happens to me every so often, and it's one of the things I want to change first.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/Gatery941/ricospeed.jpg
Another of my comic characters. Coloring by itschoco I like this one. His head is a little big, though.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/Gatery941/Kaisp.jpg
A concept of a comic character of mine yet again. Beginning to end. Colors by itschoco. I like this picture, except the shading I did makes no sense, really. Someone told me they did'nt like the way his hand was movin and said it would'nt be an effective attack. I think he has a unique fighting style, though.

Dante from Devil May Cry. screwed up HUGE on the pecs / abs. Oh well, I've learned to pay extra close attention to that since then. I wish I had the finished version. itschoco did a really swell leather effect on the jacket.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/Gatery941/Dante1copy.jpg
This is from 2001, but I still kind of like it, it's just peaceful to me. Character from my comic. Rico's nose might be a bit epic,though...and there's that one odd silhouette of a tree in the top left.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/Gatery941/ricoramonainkssmall.jpg
A test page from the comic, sans top panel and text. Only the flats got colored, which were done by its choco. I did'nt do the top panel because I could'nt figure out how to do sand dunes and make them detailed. I realize now that they're not supposed to be detailed.

A comic character of mine. I wanted the insane look on his face which I like. I still have trouble designing vehicles, though.. and I really want to draw his ship.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/Gatery941/ricosm.jpg
This is my favorite picture of this comic character of mine. Shame this page is nothing. It started out as a bunch of random sketches, and then I realized it could actually make sense.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/Gatery941/gateryshootsmall.jpg
Heather from Silent Hill 3. I did'nt notice how wiggity-whack the perspective on the gun was until I had finished inking it. I'd better try not to let that happen again.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/Gatery941/heathersmall.jpg
The Batman. He's supposed to be holding his cape up all stoic like. Some people assume he's posing like the "Thinker" statue. Which I can see, guess I should have brought the arm up a bit more.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/Gatery941/batmaninks.jpg
For a samurai, he does'nt look very asian at all, I know, but he's not supposed to be asian. And he's not supposed to be not-not-asian, heh. He's a character of mine again.. I do like the pose, however.

You have some really nice stuff going on,
the second one though, I don't know if it's her jaw so much as her mouth is pushed too much to one side and the uneven eye size.
It's maybe like you did one half of the face from one viewpoint and distance and the other from a different angle.(I thought of that one cause I keep doing it)

in the second drawing, her jaw is a bit masculine and it looks like her face is just shifter too far up and to the right. You could probably just photoshop it and move the face a bit to make it work better. but like you said, everything else looks nice. Interesting style, some of it reminds me of an artist that calls herself bara-chan (who reminds me of someone else, who reminds me of someone else..). Cool beans :)

you've got some really great drawings here. i like the line quality in a lot of these. You do seem to have that reoccurring problem of the oversized jaw/face, as well as cross eyes a few times.

I like the idea of Samus out of her suit but i would like to see you tie in something..anything..to make us better understand that it's samus. also, i bet that DS isn't waterproof!

I have horrible issues with cityscapes. But I'm working on them..
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/Gatery941/spiderman.jpg
I sometimes have problems with making original characters look too similar, so I tried drawing 3 girls differently. There's also more cityscape issues here. I did'nt have a ruler to use, since I was at work, so I had to eyeball everything. That's not what bothers me, though.

Farah from Prince of Persia : The Sands of Time. I did'nt have the guts to finish the background. I'm working on scenery, though. But here it looks so forced and fake, yech.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/Gatery941/farah.jpg
I decided to draw a male who was'nt the strong jaw, hero boy type. So I made him a little chubby, which I always have problems with. Also there's a fruity elven prince and some boy looking up, hooray.

KaenLogos from Polykarbon eh ? ;)

You're style is very cool, but I must agree you need to do some facial studies (not porn either :P altho, I guess that could work)...or it's not that you can't draw nice faces, it's you need to be more consistent doing so...but the bodies and line quality/style is very nice, I like all the needless little lines that add detail and texture.

The last two pics, i'm not sure what you were trying with the first pic, or if it's like 8 yrs old, but stop, cuz it's not even close to your usual style/standard :P ....and on the chick, her hips, on side (the left) has that cute little roll, and the other side doesn't (where the jeans push up flab)

Overall, nice stuff...cool to see a DS too ;) it rocks.

Hey these are excellent! Your lines are very strong and your characters really show life, keep at it!

I think your work looks great! To agree with the comments above, you just need to transfer some of that extra skin on the chins and jaws to the top of your heads. To me it seems like some of your heads are lacking height, but then the jaw or chin has too much...but other than that, I think they all look awesome. :confident

I like your work. It's clean and interesting. My individual comments are about your first set of posts.

Girl in bikini: He right hand looks really large.

Yes, that guy does look cross-eyed. But then, maybe he's looking at the hot girl in the bikini!

Wolfman-guy: No not an effective strike...UNLESS he has just knocked something from his enemies hands. Then the pose is perfect!

The Couple relaxing by the tree: Maybe you could try using so cross haching for the tree in the background instead of solid black. I think that would blend it in better.

Batman pose: Looks to me like he's wiping his nose because he has a cold in all that rain. Which is pretty stoic you know. As rich as he is and with a bad cold, he's still out there protecting the inocent! What a guy!

Of course, Alfred will be none too happy about it.
