This is really great Davi
i like the colors a lot, and the brush strokes are really nice
the anatomy is really well defined too imho
good job :)
just one question, what do you exactly call the wash brush in painter7 ? In order to get some of the feeling of the old watercolor brush from painter6 i use the thinting brushes in painter7 with some tweaks ... but i am curious of the settings of the brush you used

wash brush is a custom brush made by a friend of mine, basicly it kinda feels like a watered down melted crayon... kinda waxy and wet :\

- Personal crit: I think the leg to the left of the page is too short, but i might be wrong. She looks rather.. 16.. not sure if that's a bad thing or not since i wasn't aiming for an age.

is there any way you could record one of your paintings in painter and post it? And if you could, place a link to taht wash brush.. I really like taht type of coloring your paintings have and id like to try it.. You haev a realyl distinctive style and I really like it!

Well... these drawings take about 30 minutes to do, there is honestly no step by step worth showing. I usually draw the anatomy via bones, and suggesting forms, then get straight into the coloring.
I don't know if i can give out the wash brush or not, my friend made it and i need to talk to him first. It's for painter7 too.

It's in this BRS file I made a while ago. It's a compilation of my favorite (my then favorite) brushes. Washa brusha is created by my friend, Ryan Wood, and Toddle's Brush (I think it's in this file) was created by my friend Todd Harris. All the others are mine. I have some new favorites that I think kick ass over some of these, BTW. I'll try to focus long enough to make a new BRS file to upload with all the goodies.
If you guys can download these and split them up... upload them as mirrors, etc... I'd appreciate the lack of draw on my friend's bandwidth.

Enjoy.

DragonGX: I live in Lehi. My daughter actually lives in Ogden. I go up there every other week to get her. We'll have to hook up, or somepin'. Yah, it's cool to find local boys... especially when the bulk of everyone seems to be from other countries, let alone near me.
Is anyone else having problems getting the BRS file to load properly? I can't get it going in version 6 or 7. It was made for v. 6, but seems to be corrupt. Davi, think you could upload your working version somewhere? Just to test, ya know.
