Before the words terminator3 and thunderdome4 enter your thoughts, know this: this piece started out as a self portrait posted in the Feb SP thread. but as some of you know too well that when doodling gets out of control you have to roll with it. That's what happened here. so i'm posting the tech MC, then the self port that started it all.

that is seriously the coolest thing i've seen done with robotics in along time. the portrait eye is so great

That is seriously one of the coolest things I have ever seen.

The fact that I wasted my first post, should back this statement up. ;)

What sort of pens did you use?

thanx guys. This was done on Bristol board using .3mm HB, .5 2B, .5 2H, mechanicl pencils, blending stump, kneaded eraser, electric eraser and adjusted levels in PS. the dimensions are about 9 x 11 or 23cm x 29cm for us metric users. I have a huge nose but it is intentionally distorted to give that fish eye lense look, I hope I pulled that off well enough.
