hey hey, i really want to improve and this site seems to have a lot of professionals and experienced artists, so i thought i'd post a pic here to see what feedback i can receive.
its a night elf from warcraft, took me about 2 hours. main crits i'm looking for are anatomy, perspective, and tips on stuff like that, but anything else is appreciated too. oh, and please excuse my name pasted smack down in the middle, i only do that on sketches, and remove them when i color :)
thanks for looking!

Well you've done a great job on the details, but I think she looks incredibly uncomfortable in that pose, especially for a female elf. Take a look at some dancers, that's the first thing I think of when I imagine an elf. Very poetic in movement.
As for anatomy, the head/neck seem a bit off. As do the hips, but that might be the posing.
Anyway, that's your biggest concern, the pose and the anatomy, at least in my eyes.

Put this in the "Helpful Critiques" (Subforum of It's finally finished) next time - even the pros drop by there and give advice.
But: Don't put that "Brandon Dunn" on it as a copyright remark. 1st it's from Warcraft and not from you (as you said yourself) and not even the professionals do that. No offense meant!

Hey! Good start, looks like you have a neat costume idea.
The pose could definately use some work. Her left hip (viewers right) seems very off to me. Try using a photo reference of a similar pose.
And for Night Elf anatomy, I think the ears should be longer and at a stronger curve to the back.
