I thought they were matte paintings of a film set at first, but apparently its even a tourist attraction...Pretty amazing photos

yeah i went to the mainpage a bunch of thimes and it looked like screenshots for agame or something, and the 5th time i went there i went in to the close ups and realized theyre photos.

Some of those photos also remind me of Total Recall heh. Does Tokyo get alot of floods or something? Tsunamis?

"G-Cans Project is a massive project, begun 12 years ago, to build infrastructure for preventing overflow of the major rivers and waterways spidering the city (A serious problem for Tokyo during rainy-season and typhoon season)." Apparently Japan is similar to tropics when it comes to climate.
