you could always do what i did, find good artists and befriend them... I've gotten a lot of my tattoos as trades- for websites, and I'm painting a mural in my friend's basement for the rest of my sleeve, too. I've only been tattooed by
two people, both I consider good friends now... it's much nicer than dealing with a stranger with a "cooler than you" attitude.

And SOK- funny you should mention it, when I was getting my leg piece, my friend was telling me about how he learned about all the symbolism in tattoos in yakuza society... apparently if I had my fish going up my leg, rater than down- it would be like I was saying I was IN the yakuza (fish upstream=going against the grain of society), which i don't think I'd want... The guy my friend learned it from was a tattoo artist who was at one point affiliated with Yakuza- he was missing a pinky and an eye. Fuckin crazy, right?

Thanks Bryan! He is crazy and sweet. Well we actually have 2 cats that are both wild hybrids. Meowzer is not much bigger than most cats but hes got a really long body. We also have Bobo who is a little bigger than average. I'm not sure which one is "THE" cat that Jason brags about most. Meowzer is my buddy though!

Intern, yes he is a Bengal! You should totally get one. Once you meet Meowzer you will for sure want one. We actually got him in southern Cali.

That's awesome Yumiko! I love lizards. How did Gimbles die from an Anole bite? I used to have several of them, and they couldn't bite that hard. Unless Honolulu has mutant anole's on steroids or something?

Teknobabel-- First of all, Gimbles was very small to begin with, still a baby. The green anole was bigger than her. Her little body got bitten on the chest and arm. After she got bit she stopped eating & drinking water completely, and just started sleeping 24/7. She couldn't use her arm anymore, it was like a paddle that she dragged along with her. She started falling off the branches a lot, so I kept her on a plant that wasn't high from the table top. I thought her body was just recuperating or healing or something, but less than a week later she had died. :nohope:
