thanks for the warm welcome everyone! sorry about the website... it's pretty old and a new one is being made (actually most my work on the site is a couple years old.. besides when i've figured out how to do an update - yes maybe it's not all that difficult, but i do better with a brush in my hand - ), soon i'll have a system where i can post my drawings everyday, and keep a journal through them - have really admired andrews consistency with the sp's and alot of you i am becoming more familiar with your work. now i have lots of new pics on my pc, just need to figure out how to post them here... can anybody help?
I leave in about 8 hours for a crazy trip around the globe - just 10 days, so if i figure it out soon i'll post some more, otherwise ya'll have to wait ;)
wait maybe this will work now - geez, be patient with me,
if it does, this is a portrait i did on the 8th, oil on unstretched primed canvas, it's just a long strip that i nailed on the wall, and will do 9 self portraits before April on it - for a portrait exhibition

one last pic -
text thats around the portrait:
Self Portrait 24.jan..., buzz of a computer fan, dry throat, hot in these clothes - heat turned up too high, some hour of the night... otherwise slience... comfortable to be doing what I want... not thinking about what I should... no reptition in a moment, they are somehow similar and rare... so much to see and so little discipline... it's these moments that seem to count, even though really all of them do. it's about attitude they say... listening too... it's all right here, just have to open the eyes...

that last portrait you posted really grabs me. It is a very accurate to your real likeness and the composition has a great flow to it
