As I mentioned in my greeting post I could use every pice of help given to me. I realy wish to learn how to draw like the pros, the problem is that I live in Israel and there are no profesional art schools here.
So I could wind the next informations very useful:
-1- I need some art tutorial sites and of course some of your profesional help.
-2- What tools do you work with: digital and traditional.
Now I would also want to say that my drawing knowlege is close to 0 >:{ but I do have lots of inspiration an ides but when I drw i feel like I see s**t ao i need asistance.
Thank you.
P.S I am only 14 years old so I wish to treat you all as my teachers and you treat me as your pupil.

Well as some have helped me and as I have seen Mind Candy Man's thread on his path to learning art, but it seems he had lots of knowledge but I truly have NONE :dead: so i will read a few art books. I still need to find the right tools : like tipe of paper and tipes of pens/pencils and then get on my way.
(-Oblio- I can't curently give you any drawing because I... kinda draw like a 7 year old kid (mainly because of my shity art teachers at school). But if you could give me your e-mail or messenger (if you use one) I'l be more than glad to tell you what i belive my works should be.)
So if anyone can give a small biginner like me some advice and encouragement I'd be bustling with happines.

Hey Alex - how about making no more excuses for yourself and post?
It doesn't matter how bad you THINK they are - we're here to help, and can't help without seing what you do.
Lesson 1
First step is getting ready to show your art.

right, first of draw more. in the subtle words of petey konig "you need to get of your fucking ass and draw!" and its true, you cant really blame art teachers in the end. Draw alot more then you currently are. draw people in the bus in the morning, buy a small sketchbook that fits in your pocket and just take it wherever you go, thats what i do. You need to just sketch alot more, get people to pose for you. Know as oblio or anyone else will tell you. Your first ones are gunna suck. You know it and i know it. :P make a couple of crap ones, and youl identifyyour mistakes and gradually fix them till in a couple of years time you will be a-fucking-mazing. Start a sketch book in the ca.org sketch book sub forum. And try and keep it updated every day. Work at it and youl get better.
try working on the very basics, like proportions, and dont be satisfied with somthing, cause youl come back and the next day youl be like "woah thats bad" and youl do a newer better one. Also for every one good drawing you do youl have 10 bad ones to compensate. It works like that for all of us. Good luck do more work and post it. :D :yayca:

sorry - all i could do considering my chedulle.
So - what we have here is a good start. Hell - any start is good. :)
Drawing has a lot of "mathematics" - in your drawing for example i can't understand if your alien has a long back side oro a lonf left side.
I can't understand what's going on at his mouth.
BUt before that, you should try and drw your best drawing - not gust one youare happy with due an ideea.
SO try and focus and make the eyes on the same level, and th emouth on the middle of the face - etc.
ANd so we all can move along - from now on you should draw only from life (for a while).
So choose and object in your hoese and draw it.
IF you work hard, i'm sure a lot of people here wil lbe willing to help you an dsupport you.
This thread goes to the Learning Area.
