I need your help. This question may sound lame, but I need a solution for this little problem:
I mostly draw in my sketchbook, with quite soft pencils. I'm taking this sketchbook with me wherever I go, so...my problem is, those drawings get all smudged out. They're getting all blurry. It makes me cry. :nohope: How can I prevent something like this?

Get some Fixative at your local art store and spray it.
Dont inhale to much =)

Thanks Yoonjin!
I'll try to get it as soon as possible.
BTW, after I sprayed it, I can't edit this drawing anymore, right? I mean, I can't draw on the sprayed parts?

That's the idea.
Personally, I always use cheap hairspray. Fixates more than good enough, plus you dont risk having your lungs plastified :)(Fixative is liquid plastic, but dont let that discourage you ;))

Yeah, thanks. Cheap hairspray, I've heard about that. Maybe I'm going to try that first. Because my 'local' artstore isn't really that...'local'.

You can go on and draw after you have sprayed your fixative.
Though the graphite will act a bit different..but its a cheap trick tu build upp really dark values to fix and then dram over again.

if you get a workable fixative you can draw over them
